I think what he is implying is the affiliation within itself enhanced their rep...

To be perfectly honest, I don't even think the Lox rock wit RR business wise, but they maneuver around because that's their muscle..

DMX had issues with them over bad business, so I'm sure the Lox did/do as well..

And that's going to happen to alot of rappers if their affiliates leave them or unity gets lost...

It's about keeping enough muscle around you to HOPEFULLY keep your rep amongst the fans intact

Yeah man, I could and for sure have told stories about that all day on here. I got in the game when I was 16, by 17 I was moving like two ounces a week.
Had a Hollywood Hills level coke habit by the time I was 18. Had escorts and classmates in hotel rooms, money coming out of my pockets, sniffing coke in a high school bathroom. All true.

Of course what comes with that, was jail, halfway houses, work release, I basically crashed out around 19, and had to spend years on the bench. Not to mention the mental damage that comes with missing normal life experiences.
