Im currently 200lbs at 5ft 11 and want to reach 170lbs by the end of April. Is this possible? :patrice:

I’ll be hitting the gym 5 days a week, drinking only water, eating healthy food at around 2300 calories etc so I’ve got that shyt down so I just want to know what are my chances:lupe:

I don’t know why 170 is more important than 175 or 165. Seems arbitrary to me. I believe it’s possible but it depends on your bf% and if you want to preserve muscle. Also, 5 days a week could lead to impressive gains or to total disappointment. How many days you train depends on recovery. If you’re not making gains try to train less.

Keep us updated on your progress and best of luck.

it is possible whether you tryna look brolic or skinny fat.

you do need a lot of free time to spend tho.

also you prolly don't need that many calories and you should also get ready to up your cardio if you're serious about it.

Thanks breh. I just think 170lbs at my height is perfect. I’m bulky currently and want that lean muscular look with low body fat.

It's possible.

That's 105,000 calories you'd need to burn in roughly 70 days though. :heh:

You'd need to put in work along the lines of:

a) 15 miles a day eating at maintenance.
b) 10 miles a day eating 500 calories below maintenance.
c) 5 miles a day eating 1000 calories below maintenance.

....or anywhere in between.

(A) requires the most work, but will result in you feeling and looking the best.
(C) requires the least effort, but will likely leave you gaunt, weak, and exhausted with rebound weight gain waiting for you once finished.
(B) is in between

This is walking, btw. This volume and frequency, in addition to weight training, isn't sustainable with running or jogging.

Good luck.

go on a 4-5 day water fast, then eat nothing but high fat and high protein and low carbs

By doing this since January, i am at 234.6 this morning. Was 255 in late december. No lifting. No cardio.

My schedule is super hectic. I will start lifting light weights come march. Goal is 210 and I am 6'2

Also, i eat 2 meals. 12pm and 6pm. Lots of water and tea. I had one cheat meal and the next day I was up 2 lbs smh.

It's feasible.

You just need to burn 1400 additional calories a day, while not eating shyt and or over eating.

Very, very possible.

It'll be hard work if you don't have a real heart rate monitor like polar or fitbit, I don't know if smart watches have sweat sensors or actually take your pulse to monitor in real time and tell you how many calories you are burning.
