I understand why some would feel that but I disagree. To me it just makes Floyd look even greater with how easily he was able to beat Manny. Floyd beat some damn good fighters and made it look easy no matter his age. Manny has had too many close fights and then you add on the legit losses Manny faced and I just can't put him over a guy who only has two debatable close fights and basically blew everybody else out.
Plus I had soured on Thurman and thought he was ripe to be beat as soon as he faced Manny, Spence, or Crawford. Much props to Manny and definitely raises his overall standing but I just can't put him over Floyd.

You gotta stack head to head, resumes, who fought who in their primes, record vs same fighters and the outcomes. It's a lot more to it than Floyd beat Manny. And for the record, i have Floyd slightly ahead of Pacquiao, but if Pacquiao beat Spence i would but him ahead of Floyd.

Manny was a flyweight too which makes his accomplishments even crazier. Floyd couldn’t do that. He wouldn’t even fight Keith Thurman or Errol Spence. Yet Manny has to beat them at 40 years old to be ranked ahead?

However, if Tyson and Holyfield both beat Lewis, Spinks, Bowe, Holmes, and Tyson came from Middleweight up to HW, lost to Holyfield, then while Holyfield fought kickboxers Tyson went on to beat the Klitschko's and Byrd, would he not have an argument?

Floyd has the best 2 wins on either resume (Pac and Canelo). Those are huge wins
