This is why u should find a woman (or man for bruhettes) who is willing to grow with u and build with u. Can't be with a person who is lazy, complacent, and not trying to improve. Life is about learning and achieving milestones and maturing. If u notice ur partner is upgrading and doing better whether its career wise, looks, losing weight, maturing, establishing stability, etc. then u should be learning from them and trying to help out and upgrade urself along with ur partner. If u have to upgrade ur spouse...then u must didn't choose wisely or didn't truly know and learn ur partner during the dating stages.

A lot of issues would be resolved if you just allow polygamy. People always upgraded but didn't dump the old wife. They kept her household intact while having a new wife. It's an issue with the first wife if that's wasn't her expectation but I've seen brehs do it anyway. My Uncle did it anyway. It had me wondering how much women were willing to share their man knowing they were his primary concern but had other sparks of interest outside.

Let's be honest these divorce laws that make you support someone in perpetuity are dumb. It makes marriage to the man essentially an agreement that you'll support this woman till death. Whether you with her or not or whether irreconcilable differences happened. Even if things happen that make you unhappy with her. I'm surprised as Men we are not lobbying to change them and make them more lenient/ fare.

I'm not against her having something to show for her time but let's not treat her like an invalid.. this is really showing the culture of a huge subset of women relying on men will never change through history.
The women around me are strong though. Not reliant on anyone so I believe partners like these can be found. Sometimes the guy leaves because he sees who he started with isn't that kind.

In the end there's multiple reasons guys leave their wife for wife number two. If she was your day 1 and had been supporting you. Well take care of her. If she hasn't wronged you and you still have love for her but you really itching for other people.. Don't divorce her.. Side chick your other options but don't elevate them to your wife status and keep it a complete secret to your grave if you care about her. If the relationship is toxic and she feels entitled.. Then it's bytch bye. You're a grown person take care of yourself. Even if she's a bytch but you have kids by her. Take care of her and the kids so that they have a baseline of comfort that she can build from. As opposed to a dependency
