Yes to the bolded. And there's nothing comical about picking and choosing on this. That exact word was not in heavy use anywhere else, so they shouldn't be saying it. The closest is the use of "neg/negre" in the French Caribbean. But there, it moreso just means a person of African descent, it's the literal French word for black. But even then, I don't want them saying it. It belongs to us.So only Americans black people can say it, no other black person with a non American accent can say it?
