When have you ever seen me bring up ratings in an attempt to slander either show? :jbhmm:

I can't quite remember, but the other two definitely do it.

My thing is to stay consistent which have always been my gripe when it came to certain posters.

Don't switch it up when you find it convenient cuz you don't like something.

I might not agree with everybody at all times, but the least anybody can do is be consistent.:yeshrug:

Bring up my posts slandering any show about ratings. If you can't, shut your mouth, continue posting non-facts, get sensitive and neg me again. Not sure what's hard to understand that the ratings aren't really a factor in determining the quality of a show, and it's been that why for a long time. Using your logic, the highest selling artists make the best music, and the ones not selling anything make trash. There's been some nosedive rating shows that have actually been good, and some shows that get a boost, yet were shytty. Not sure why your comprehension skills are so shot. The only consistency you have is consistently shytty posts.

I guess if they can sustain that they'll keep living but they need to be creating life long fans. Most of us started watching when we were 7 - 10 years old and they hooked us to the point that we're talking about wrestling on a Hip Hop forum.
I dont disagree with you.

I'm just telling you what it is right now. They're clearly not concerned with adult fans.

Yes that's why today's product is being heralded as great.:duck:

Because it's successful.:troll:

The wwe have different avenues of accumulating money now more than ever.

The wwe didn't have a film studio, a wwe network, YouTube, reality show on E!, etc back during the attitude era.

If there's a negative correlation with ratings & how much $ they make, what's your point? What's most important?

No trolling. Lesnar isn't some generic wrestler. He's a legit star that some of y'all hate.

People wanna see stars & these are facts.

These threads tells it all because the stars of yesteryear more times then not get brought as a measuring stick.

You know & I know things ain't how it should be.

Has it occurred to you that domestically (if you're American) wrestling is a niche that isn't taken seriously but in other countries, the popularity is still there? You might not think that Nakamura is a star but I bet that next tour in Japan sells out every night. You might think Jinder is a jobber but when WWE shows up in India and he gets face pops, it'll show that it was the right decision.

It wasn't that long ago that they were trying to corner the market in Mexico also, hell they're still trying. From a business standpoint, they're doing it right with their multinational carnival of wrestlers who made their name all over the world which you can see with the WWE Superstars!:gladbron:

Things change with time :manny:No one thought a purely jump shooting team could win a championship. You've got fans bytching about Latin players flipping a bat and celebrating after home runs talking about unwritten rules in baseball. It's just annoying as fukk reading men sound like women when it comes to their criteria of a star. "He's gotta be 6'4", 250 with muscle with charisma" :mjlol: :dame:

Doesn't matter who's wearing the belt. Mediocre creative = Mediocre ratings, hopefully they'll be smart enough to put the cruiserweights to good use. Just let them do what they do like on the CWC.

Crap show gets crap ratings :yeshrug:

There was a time (GOATsso penned era) that RAW would BEAT football on Monday nights, so that excuse can :camby:

Not true. One of WWE's major sources of revenue is TV rights fees. Wrestling brings in very low ad rates for TV networks, much less than scripted programming and live sports, so the only reason to keep it on the air is because it gives you high ratings and lets the network say it was #1 for the night.

So, at a certain point if the ratings keep dropping, USA might look and say.. how much is this really worth it anymore? WWE has been important to them because of the rating, and because USA hasn't created any original hit shows lately, but if the ratings keep falling and USA decides it can put something else in that slot to make more money, they will do it.

This is all per Meltzgawd.

Smackdown can barely draw 2.1 mil. Youtubers do more than this.

But let me stop, because when you drop facts you're "trolling."

When the marks are presented with the facts and they have nothing to refute it with, instead of just admitting they are wrong they say it's trolling to just discredit everything, it's sad, pathetic and ultimately anti-intellectual

But it's good to see more and more posters calling these marks out for that

I think it's unfair to compare the past to the present considering wrestling is more a niche product now than it was in the 80's and late 90's, and what applied back then won't now due a cultural shifts.
