I really wish Hollywood would produce some positive speculative fiction for a change. Most of the well though out/realistic sf regarding cloning, transhumanism, AI dont always end up terribly wrong.

I think the fact that we've have only made negative movies and sci fi books on this subject, means that we need to think twice before we pursue this sh1t.

We are a takeover species. Some of these creatures are powerful and probably wouldn't like being cages and poked at the way we would. We wouldn't want to just throw them into the wild and upset natural habitats and food chains.. and IT WOULD be very unethical to bring them back to be our pets and experiments.
