Ressurect them just to lock them in a cage. Sounds like hell. Imagine being put in a grave and someone brings you back to live and then chains you to a dog house outside with dead grass and bugs to keep you company.

I really wish Hollywood would produce some positive speculative fiction for a change. Most of the well though out/realistic sf regarding cloning, transhumanism, AI dont always end up terribly wrong.

it is all for money. But alot of people are quoting movies and shyt who got the science wrong.

If the animal is extinct because humans killed it, then yeah it's cool to clone it.

But if it's extinct b/c the environment changed or its habitat doesnt exist, then it'd be borderline torture to bring it back.
