Cool I'll admit I'm not quite as familiar with D&M work. I might be mistaken but I was told they took the first shot.

Either way everybody involved is corny but once you tally up the facts Ak had a great year in stats and money considering no one even knew what his face looked like last year. This nikka puts out content daily on like 5 platforms when was the last time D&M did a podcast?

People don't like AK and that's fine but to act like he don't have some juice right now is just Joe Buddening. Bruh had MULTIPLE moments this year where all of black twitter/IG were talking about him or ES for good or bad. I haven't seen ONE moment where the culture as a whole gave D&M attention. And let's get honest all these nikkas do it for is to get paid for the attention

All these nikkas keep running from this.Like Joe was just talking about with Complex, its all about the impact, fukk the numbers for a second. You mean to tell me D&M really been out here when all their content in the booth this year has been related to Akademiks, Fact. I check my social sites, its still AK content lol
But its a bunch of old NY nikkas rubbing their nuts in this jawn, so pay it no mind. Akademiks still gonna be wack to these nikkas. Shyt the boy is on his way to working with Apple but watch em say the same shyt whenever that is announced.

This latest outburst of stuff happened when someone on Ak's twitch brought up D&M and then Ak said what he said. That's when Desus & Mero responded.

Desus and Mero took shots at Ak and the show before, but other than the couple of times they brought it up on the show which was months ago, they don't go out of their way to mention him any more than they do anyone else. A lot of people who they target get it (including Joe Budden), but not Akademiks. Ak's doing well for himself doing what he does. Desus and Mero are doing well for themselves doing what they do. Both statements can be true. However, Ak does and says a lot of shyt that people don't respect, not just Desus & Mero as we know, but they happened to be the ones Akademiks brought up.
