Anyway, I understand RGIII's desire for people to not only view him as a great quarterback, but as an individual, his skin color be damned.


He understands how sh*t works in America, and understands that other people might view things differently than him, but at the same time, he has his beliefs, but isn't pushing them down other people's throats. He's aware of his reality, has his own beliefs, but isn't delusional. It's hard not to admire someone with such a balanced perspective in such an "extremist", zero-sum, one-or-the-other, black-and-white (literally) country and under such an intense microscope too.

I know I'm sounding like a broken record though.

Is it so hard to live and let live? Why does everyone have to be like everyone else?
