I live in the United States
@calh45 @Cockmeat Sandwich unfortunately this man have a white GF is fueling some of the negative media.

Its a catch 22. In the Black community everyone isn't about hooking up with white people
But its not for the same reasons a racist white person would not want to mingle with nigs
Its true certain white folk are hell bent on keeping black ppl "in there place"
And after generations and generations of this, you have to expect a lot of disgust
This trickles down into the children, and while some of it can be negative (especially how black women view blk men with white girls)
The positives is by helping your children be aware. Because if you not aware?
You gonna be sounding like Cam did.. or being a puppet like Rob :hula:
Is it a coincidence they started pushing FIRST TAKE Weekend edition starring Rob? Problably not

I could go deeper, but my paragraphs would be longer than usual if I did that :leon:
Quick tho... Hidden Colors talks about how America has set up Black Women into trying to be so independent that they act like they don't need men.
This then destroys the fabric of the home.
Its mad true, its alarming. Then if you look at what is being offered to black women from a media standpoint? Real Housewives? How about muscially?
They are basically told to shake that ass. I'm sure that is a recipe for prosperity within the black community :wtb:

Caring about where another man sticks his penis is ridiculous but we in here discussing it. One has actually to do with the qualities of being successful at their profession. The other has absolutely nothing to do with it.

I'm not the one discussing it with you, I'm discussing you caring about a post game press conference.

Do you DVR them?

When the post game press conference is indicative of the questioning of your leadership skills on the field then yes they are relevant.

:aicmon: We talking about practice, practice. Does that ring a bell. And oddly enough no one would call AI a leader of men. Cam is not a leader of men. He is a boy in a man's body.

I personally dont find anything Rob Parker said to be wrong, in fact, I'm positive a good amount of the posters in this thread have said similar things around your group of friends eventhough yall acting outraged on here :jawalrus: Facts is....RGIII does have a c00nish characteristic about him. I'm glad he's performing well. He a young brother doing it, but he does. And it has nothing to do with him being smart or because he doesn't act ghetto. Donovan McNabb was probably the safest, most smiling, non-ghetto acting negro there's ever been in the NFL but, he still didn't come off like RGIII. Robert's that black athlete in high school who had an all white group of friends, a white girlfriend, and every album by Fall Out Boy.

With all that said, this shyt is in-house, barbershop talk only and by in-house, I mean between blacks behind closed doors....not shyt broadcasted on global mediums. I would never say this shyt on ESPN :dead:

The thing is, this is missing the point. Why do we as black people CARE so much about "blackness," especially as it is defined? Why should I lambast a person for clearly growing up around a demographic in which there may not have been a large black community, which that person had no control over? Why should I attack someone's identity as a person for something they can't control?

Y'all act like nikkas who don't "act black" can just turn that shyt on and off, as if it's not a result of whatever environment that person grew up in...and then castigate and ostracize those particular people for it on the level of personal identity, as if it's within their control...thus actually giving them less reason to want to be around black people. And then attack those people even more for not wanting to be around "brothas" and "sistas" who ridicule them and don't accept them.

Does that make ANY sense?

:mindblown:

As if it's not hard enough being black as it is. Can you imagine being black, and having both non-blacks AND blacks not like you? We need to be more accepting of each other. Black is black...period.

I don't know his future. I just don't care about post game press conferences. The other 60 minutes of the actual game matter

Funny thing about this thread. Is some of the people that applaud RG3 for not comparing himself to other black QB's, are the same people that shyt on Cam Newton in comparison to RG3. :aicmon:

Simple question:

How does RG3 c00n?

  1. White wife
  2. Dances for the delight of white people as evidenced in gif posted in thread
  3. Gets hair braided by white person
  4. Unable to step into most black barbershops at this juncture in his career
  5. Was labled the 'safe negro' at Baylor

I know you're a big fan of his because he got you guys a bunch of polos and whatnot but I'm afraid the writing is on the wall son. You're bordering delusion honestly :beli:

All of that matters. Post game, how you conduct yourself off the field, etc. And when you got guys like Steve Smith questioning your leadership skills:huhldup: you ain't built for that. Cam is not built for that. Something about him is fragile as almighty.

He gets it!!!!

:to:

I'm proud of RGIII.

His parents taught him well. He gets who "they are" and their box fitting of black quarterbacks, unlike Cam's dumb ass who wore "their" burden as his own.

I wouldn't call CAM dumb, however, his comments about black QBs his rookie year was jacked up.

He's young and ignorant, and is going to put his foot in his mouth..

Time will tell for both of these guys..

RG3 is playing at a high clip and I am happy for him, but with a white wife, and being eager to please, it is the perfect formula to slip out of yourself and forget what you need to stand for...

The fact that he said black QBs running is a negative stereotype without putting in the right context is :mjpls: status

He said it in the right context. Clearly the negative stereotype is tied to "one read and run" quarterbacks.

Second...why should I give a fukk who he marries. Dude knows who "they" are and what "they" do regarding black qbs. We don't have enough black men in sports period who challenge the bs "they" say.

That's the measure of RGIII you need to be looking at.

Genuine question though?

Why should Rob Parker be fired for this? On the face of it, the inquiry was legitimate as to his blackness. It's actually quite the non-issue tbh. I just don't see a legitimate reason to fire him.

@MikeBrownsJob @Cockmeat Sandwich @calh45

Rob Parker Says RG3 is "Cornball Brother" Because of White Fiancee | Robert Littal Presents BlackSportsOnline

I don’t watch ESPN 1st Take and this is the main reason why. RG3 escapes a significant knee injury and is trying to play on Sunday in a game that the Redskins desperately need to keep their playoff hopes alive.

In a normal person’s mind their thought process would be “how will RG3 perform on his bad leg”, “will he be able to run the type of offense that the Redskins usually run or will there be limitations.”

But, on ESPN 1st Take they rather spend time questioning his blackness. Before we get to what Rob Parker said, let’s look at his questionable comments in the past.

1- Once called Hank Aaron a coward for being in attendance when Barry Bonds broke his home run record.

2- Erroneously reported that Kirk Cousins, who was at Michigan State at the time, was in a fight with some hockey players when he was actually at church with his parents (Parker was suspended over that).

3- Questioned then Lions head coach Rod Marinelli about Lions DC Joe Barry, Marinelli’s son-in-law, inquiring whether Marinelli wished that his daughter had “married a better defensive coordinator. (he resigned after that).

4- Flirts in an unprofessional manner with 1st Take host Cari Champion bringing flowers and gifts on the set.

So, remember who we are talking about here.

You would be the one who feels "the guys in the barbershop, not the college educated ones" representing blackness as legitimate.

Actually, you couldn't be more wrong....

There was a shytstorm surrounding CAM at AU and when the NCAA came knocking all he did was stay steadfast, lead and continue to perform at a superior level....

Blocked all the demons out and did what he had to do and that takes a certain spiritual fortitude....

He wears his emotions on his sleeve and mopes....So what...

Every other ethnicity gets a pass for his youth except nikkas and if the white washed media presents his faults in the right light, no one will be quicker to attack CAM than his own....And that will make the criticism seem legit, even though it isn't
