It makes sense economically and socially for them to remain part of the U.K. But they want both sides. The benefits of the U.K. while keeping their own identity. The vote was very close

In any case i was talking about the Olympics. Olympics will not give them their own team unless they become independent
Have a good day man. How many times do I have to explain to you I know it's part of the U.K. We are going back and forth with semantics. Like you're reading over what I'm saying.

Also 44% wanted to leave. That's a vast majority now? :ohhh::usure:
breh why are you talking about UK, when im talking about Britain?

The U.K. Is literally Britain with the addition of Northern Ireland. Why are you confused? Like at this point, I'm not even trying to argue with you. There's clearly some failure of communication here

It doesn't confound the discussion at all though...

Anyway, there's no need to carry this on any further. Groundskeeper Willy is Scottish. Sure, by letter of the law he can be classified as British as well, but to do so would be doing him a disservice as his mannerisms and sayings and even dress are all stereotypically Scottish and not just British. End of discussion.

scots refer to themselves as scots, not brits first and foremost...its just one of those things, more an identity thing

i'm imagining in my head a scot telling me they're a brit (as a way of identifying themselves) :laff:

Breh thank you. This dude just trying to argue for no reason. I feel like he isn't reading what I'm saying to him and just replying random shyt :why: He keeps trying to define Britain to me for some reason when I've established that multiple times already :mjlol:

is Scotland in Britain

yes or no?

I answered this with my first post of the thread.
Try calling a Scottish person British :heh:

Scotland is part of Great Britain...you add Northern Ireland to the mix and you have the United Kingdom. But each place has their own national identity. A Scotsman is not British. A Welshman is not British. People from England are English. Its very nuanced.
