I missed the part where this dude in the interview said he or someone he knew ran up on a drug kingpin while carrying around a bag of fake drugs, threatened the kingpin with fake drugs, and not only lived to tell about it but negotiated a price with the drug kingpin for scale and payment...which is what walter did in all of two episodes in season 1.

All that dude talks about is the character development of Walter White...shyt that makes me Walter White...shyt i was a young dude working a shytty job saying to myself "i can sell some drugs on the side and make some extra cash"...hell anybody with some balls can do that...

It's when you go from cooking meth to negotiating prices with connects cause your product is "the best" is where shyt goes into left field...cause real drug addicts don't give a fukk about a "good" product...you can sell a real crackhead anything that looks like crack...

That is why the wire is the undisputed GOAT drug show...cause everything about that shyt was real life and hit him to me in real life...the way the Barksdale was stepping on that product...mixing that shyt with gasoline and baby powder...that is what really goes on with drugs...

Somewhere in america there is a dude...was a dude...who lost his life cause he was like "oh man i can cook meth i can be like breaking bad" and he got caught up with some meth heads or a real drug dead who bashed his fukking skull in, took his shyt, smoked it all up in 3 days, and they still aint found dudes bones yet

:what:

All he's talking about is the character development because that's what the show is about. Take a good man, and gradually turn him evil. That's literally the sole point of the show.

If you seriously thought "BB" was meant to be an in-depth realistic look at the drug trade....:snoop:

You might as well complain that "Game of Thrones" isn't a realistic look into medieval Western Europe. shyt is a border line nonsensical complaint.

A real life drug king pin was able to watch "BB" without nitpicking the realism of it. You never operated on that level, so watching it should be a walk in the park. That's all. You're ODing on trying to let people know you were "in the streets". Nobody cares about all that in a "BB or Game of Thrones" thread. I ain't trying to be rude but let's be real here. :heh:

Lastly, if anyone watches "BB" thinking it's meant to be a showcase for how to break into the dope game, they got bigger problems than a TV show can help them with. Even if it is "The Wire".

I'm always late when it comes to tv. I recently got into Breaking Bad and season 4 comprised some of the best television I've ever seen. :ld:

Season 5 is great thus far, too. I kept waiting for Walt to boss up and now that he has, it's :wow: I'll check out GoT when I finish up BB. If it's half as entertaining, :blessed:

Season 1 of Game of Thrones is the best single season I've seen on tv. It kind of fell off during the second season and picked right back up in third.

Overall I would say GoT is better, because its best beats Break Bad's.

Mid way through episode 6 "Buyout". Want to get to Episode 8 before I head out. Netflix doesn't have the rest of the season after that one, though. :beli:

:whoo: That Little Finger speech + the music+ the cut scenes had to be one of the greatest scenes I've witnessed on TV.

That "chaos is a ladder" speech is the best dialogue in the series so far. Since we're comparing the two shows, I felt the same way when Mike gave his "no half measures" speech in season 3 of "BB".
