I have no problem with people preferring GOT. I just don't understand how people think the first two seasons of Breaking Bad were boring or slow.

yeah, i don't get that either.

i love both shows. it's hard to really compare them because they're so different.

GoT has a million characters with a whole slew of story lines going in a medieval fantasy world...it's epic, it's complex, there's a ton of moving parts and because of that, it's a much slower paced show. BB is a lot more straight forward and it completely revolves around just 2 guys, like 90% of the scenes have walt and/or jesse in it, so it feels more focused and concise, plus it moves along much quicker.

Its not that season 1 and 2 of breaking bad is boring and slow, its just that from season 3 and forward that show took it to another level. When people think of how BB is the goat, the majority of the moments that stick out come from seasons 3-5..even when just comparing 1&2 to 3&4.

those first two seasons are 9/10 for me while everything after that is a 10

Breaking Bad is good but I didn't like the characters. They could've killed anyone and I wouldn't have cared. I was never emotionally connected to them.

As some one who actually was in the streets...i could never ever get into breaking bad...in the first season alone there were to many moments that made me say "if dude did that in real life he'd be dead"...

In the first season when he went to that mexican druglord dude place with the crystal meth (that turned out to be some explosive shyt)...man...in real life...first time dude shows up with that...man...he is dead...cause first of all you don't even sell drugs like that or get to a connect level like that...you don't just all of a sudden make a better product than everyone else and then everyone forgets about the old product...in real life the people selling that old product would...

Oops...feds is watching...

Anyway the show was just to unreal for me...but it was witty and the characters were compelling

Notice he said The Wire was the most realistic portrayal of the drug trade on TV. :mj:

Obviously it is. But if a former drug kingpin can watch "Breaking Bad" and have basically zero problems with the realism of it....well that speaks for itself really.

BB had like 3-4 dope characters. GOT has like 15+ Dope characters. BB has a lot of down scenes that are boring as fukk.
GOT is much more entertaining imo

Yeah. It's also one of those things were I really like the setting and genre of GoT. I also like the violence, sex and incredible writing (since a lot of the dialogue is taken directly from the source material). Not that BB doesn't have incredible cinematography as well, GoT's huge budget allows them to have some really really gorgeous shots. GoT on Blu-ray is a visual treat. There are a huge variety of interesting characters with huge lush backstories. I have a feeling overall, in the end after both shows are over that I will enjoy GoT better overall. But they are two really different things that probably shouldn't be compared at all.

You not even lying.
He just stole million dollars of revenue from some crew and no types of confrontation.

BB is a good show. But that concept of science teacher turned 100 million dollar drug kingpin is as unrealistic as white walkers and dragons :pachaha:

Breaking Bad is a good show but is highly overrated. Still It's better than Game of Thrones as a tv show. GoT is like bunch of recaps put together.

I say GOT just because breaking bad didnt pull me in from the jump. I became a GOT fan just watching the HBO previews and backstories of the houses before episode 1 even came on. When i first saw BB, i quit after episode 3 or 4 but then after catching a season 3 episode, i rewatched the first 2 seasons and got back into it.
