If DJ Envy is black then so is French
This is some stupid level of reach.

No they're not. Africans aren't black. I've had Ethiopians, Eritreans, Nigerians, and Kenyans explain to me that they're not black. They're African.
I work with these Africans from Africa everyday. The ones I know do not identify as black they identify as African. Sorry to burst your black bubble.
We're all ethnically African but black is a cultural thing. It's also some white man bullshyt, but that's another thread. Word to @BocaRear
Alright man. I respect your opinion. You sound just as stupid as all those imaginary Africans u know
Being African American is a cultural thing... And by AA I mean having one or both parents who are descendants of slaves
But whether you're African, AA or West Indian ..we're all Black
You sound like a cac with your nonsense
Gtfoh
Right. Folks trying to claim someone who doesn't even claim them.French Montana never once said he was black. His son, mother, BM are black. Not him.
Traditionally it's people of Sub-Sahara descent.
No no no, clearly Steph Curry is a Morroccan Berber.
Morrocans are predominantly berbers and the berbers are "black" by American standards (in regards to the one drop rule) but they're really a mixed group of people.
They're not "caucasian" like the Gulf Arabs are but they aren't "black" like the textbook definition of "black".
That's why we have to understand that when we're discussing the concept of "blackness" in regards to Africa, you see it's purely a European invention and you really start to understand that race is a horseshyt social construct
That being said there is no justification for the "nappy poetic justice braids" comment even if Morrocans are "black" that's clearly colourism.
I agree with most of this, though I think it's important to allow people to self identify, especially black people.Stop hanging out around bozos. Being black is not something you choose to adopt and drop whenever you feel like. All those you've mentioned are black there is nothing like "identifying" as black.
This is some stupid level of reach.

I identify as black but if another African victim of white supremacy doesn't I respect it.
What about the native Moroccans with dark skin and afro hair that were there before the Arabs and europeans? They are indegenious to that land.
what does that have to do with French Montana?
