In a time when Hip-Hop sucked he brought a lotta swagga to this game and therefore he gets a pass. I fukk with his Mac & Cheese 1 til this day, made living in a questionable city working an ok job way more bearable and he seems and behaves like a real one: so he gets a pass.
Kind of how Drake gets a pass: he's clearly soft and at times genuinely corny, but the contribution musically is just so big that people give him a pass. No disrespect I like Drake's music, it's cool - he's got a good team and has talent.
