Most of the people who despise Jeff Hardy do so because he's viewed as the ultimate spot monkey, gets way too many second chances despite having major screwups, is AWFUL on the mic, and has been the same "character" almost his whole career.
None of this matters. Edge had to work triple overtime coming up with hot lines and decent feuds just to remain relevant.

Jeff Hardy pops a couple Percocets, comes out and does his goofy little dance and everyone in the building goes :gladbron:

Those star qualities :wow:

No, if Jeff was reliable and didn't have his issues he would have been on the same level as Cena organically.

Jeff never got a full green light push and was still the second biggest star in the company when he left.

Hardy faced Taker in the UK in 07 or 08...crowd was cheering Hardy a little harder and slightly booing Taker, I think. Haven't seen it in awhile. But close enough. He was definitely ultra over after his 2006 return. Fans have only chosen a select few over Taker str8 up...Austin, Rock, Eddie...

You pretty much described A LOT of wrestlers that had more chances, pushes, awful promos, major screw ups, and were terrible wrestlers. Yes, I've heard of all the Jeff Hardy criticisms, but it always leads back to, "Oh his only fans are females and emo kids."

I personally like Jeff and don't find him as bad as everybody else.

I think people who call him a "spot monkey" are smarks who don't know what a "spot monkey" truly is.

For Jeff, he showed up to a PPV main event ALL fukked up and still was kept on the roster. Let's not forget the wellness violations in WWE. Very few wrestlers get that many passes in major companies. Excluding of course the people with Kliq connections.

And let's be honest, Hardy is close to all time worst for mic skills for a supposed main eventer (excluding people who don't have English as their primary language).

As for his fanbase, that's completely irrelevant for why I dislike him.

I miss that dance. It's iconic tbh. It was so careless white boy.
I need another Jeff WWE run :mjcry:

Same could be said for Randy. That man had plenty of chances. Not to mention his attitude backstage, depushing of wrestlers, etc. In this industry something like that is VERY common. Jeff took something that made him stand out above others and used it to his advantage. He compensated for his lack of mic skills with his personality and charisma. He's one of the most unique main eventers.

Daniel Bryan is horrible too on the mic. Randy Orton ain't exactly SCSA himself. Mic skills aren't the end and be all of getting over and being a memorable wrestler...even for a main eventer.

I never said YOU specifically, but I'm just saying that seems to be the main gripe about him which I find to be stupid.

Bryan has been better than anyone on the mic this year. He would of fell off long ago if he wasn't. Jeff never knew how to do the post WM XXX promo Bryan did.

Speaking of Orton is the story of him shytting in a Divas' bag just an urban myth or did he legit do that? :lolbron:

I think he did. That is so nasty. :mjlol:
I don't know what's these wrestlers obsession with fecal matter. I've heard so many stories of wrestlers doing sh_t like this. It really is a frat backstage. :scust:

jeff hardy is easily a larger star than edge.

jeff hardy is an organic star.
edge was manufactured when it came to his draw and card placement.
vince, had edge in the replacing and outdoing billy gun role.
ever since edge was first discovered.
yet, hardy organically was just much larger draw and the main attraction to manias in tlc.
after the scsa, rock's and mick's on the card, as bf's.
