YepProbably because they got progressively worse.

Friday After Next >>> Next FridayIce Cube wrote Next Friday and that shyt was good
People only shytted on it because it’s nowhere compared to the OG
If it was it own movie that shyt would get more recognition
I knew Friday After Next was doomed after i found out it was Christmas themed , I’m glad they didn’t have any musical shyt going on
Didn't have a script for the first friday so they were just being naturally funny acting out the scenes
its like the first iron man didn't have a script they made it up as they went along, and that's why the other two were trash
This is not true at all. Cube and Pooh wrote a script.
NooooChris Tucker
Probably because they got progressively worse. Next Friday was still funny, but FAN![]()

what sequels are better than its original classic ?
Rush Hour, TMNT and Terminator.
Those sequels are good but not better. Only one I can say is arguable is T2. Also Aliens and Godfather 2(even tho I prefer the first one.)Rush Hour, TMNT and Terminator.
Says the only nikka on earth that holds this opinion. Without Chris Friday isn’t Friday. Period.Noooo
he was jus as annoyin in house party 3
he couldn’t even do the promotion shyt right when he was angina Williams promoter lol
the thought of redd Debbie and Felicia being family if u tie the 2 movies together
n pops knockin down mrs pearlie
Friday is just one of those magic in a bottle moments. You could put Cube and Pooh together in a room and give them $50 million and they still wouldn't be able to capture that magic again.
On another note, the editors for New Line deserve a ton of credit. I watched the directors cut of the movie and it isI actually feel bad for the people whose first time watching Friday is the directors cut...they gonna come away thinking it's overrated
The jokes go on way too long and the comedic timing is way off. In a movie like this with so many comedians, you know most of it is loosely based on the script, and a lot of the interactions and lines are improvised. It's up to the editors to take all that overacting and jokes shot from the hip and create a scene that works. I didn't really realize it until I watched the directors cut how thin the line was betweenand
Comedian improv on film is probably 30% funny and 70% not funny, and it's all about collecting as much of the 30% as possible and cutting that other shyt out. And the editors for the theatrical cut did an amazing job in making the movie as funny as it is by knowing when scenes needed to cut to reactions, transition, and end.
