Even tho the Media kinda set him up for all this future ridicule by giving Lebron’s MVP to him in the first place because he didn’t win that MVP the story of his career would be great player derailed by injuries no different than Penny and Grant Hill but now he got the honor of being the 1st ever MVP in the history of the NBA not to be in the HOF

Doesn't make it unfortunately, probably the first ever MVP to not be in.
He's had like 3 seasons of star production, only 1 all-nba selection and no real team success apart from a lone ECF appearance. And his college "career" (only 1 year tbh) has been erased anyway.
On the flipside, he's a ROY and won 2 gold medals at the FIBA world cup but obviously not enough.

Dwight Howard has done enough to be in the hall, Rose not so much (not his fault).
He's a 2x FIBA world champ but those doesn't seem to matter much if you're an American and they weren't olympic medals (which matters more in basketball).
