Maybe 15 years ago, but a movie like this isn't going to get a wide release nowadays. Its only selling point is Common. Every other major actor in this movie is in 2 scenes max.

Lil man got his uncle killed though.
Ending was ruined by one little part and to those who saw it you know what I mean.

nothing infuriates me more than a all cac casted movie, or 1 token minority guy/girl role going to anthony mackie or some random light skinned curly haired piece... but this aint the one to hang our hats on

The kid in that movie looks to be a WAY better actor than Common.
