nahh...he's a puppet in blackface...only thing black about Obama is Michelle and the fact he likes basketball
Dude played his part like a good boy should ,he digust me for not having any nuts .dude should have resigned & told the American people the truth
He was the general of an army...they don't do that. They submit to the final order of the commander in chief. You're not being realistic...
Now you're just being an apologist. I didn't agree with calling his a coward period, but political cowardice definitely. He himself regrets not stepping down. He was not in his capacity as general of the army at the time anyway.
I've had discussions with people who feel this way; most of them really militant in their black pride. Their reasoning being that Obama's father being Kenyan means that he does not have the same historical ties to black suffering that American blacks have as part of their shared experience; he was not raised by black people instead being raised by white people; he was not raised in or around black people having been brought up in Hawaii and Indonesia.
Their argument goes that his skin color may be the same but he has no clue about what it means to be a black man in America.
I think leading american soldiers through wartime and enemy territory after serving himself as well by default makes it impossible for YOU or I to call that man, a COWARD
He played the role of a good soldier and took the fall for his commander in chief.

Come on man.
Only problem is he was not a soldier. He should have stood up to the Cheney and Rumsfeld but he didn't. The state department knew Iraq was a mistake and they knowingly set him up with the UN. Shame on Colin Powell. He lost a lot of credibility and his reputation was forever tarnished because of his refusal to stand up and tell Americans the truth.
