It's ok just like the Arnold version but in a different way. It's kinda weird reading the reviews for this thing. Many of them are calling it a close remake of the 1990 version without the weirdness and one-liners + they don't go to Mars. How is that a close remake -_-? I thought it was very well made. The new version has much better action then the old version, straight up and let's not kid ourselves, the action in the 1990 version was Three Stooges level at points. Good looking sets, art and design - the lens flares tho.

and his performance was pretty good considering 90% of the movie is you talking on a phonebut he never bothered me as an actor in anything he's been in other than that, he just never really impressed me that much.

@ playing a American Irish character but having an Aussie accent
in the weeks or months leading up to it, i thought miami vice was going to be that it movie for him, like a big box office blockbuster or something.
honestly i don't even remember the shyt he was in prior to that had his name buzzing like it was (SWAT? lol or am i thinkin of someone else?), i just recall he was on his 15 minutes of fame steez... and then miami vice happened (never saw it)... and he kinda just disapeared..
Ethan Hawk (sp?) feels similar. I feel like Eva Mendez benefited more from the Training Day/Denzel shine than ol boy.. I remember Training Day, then some news/gossip drama about him and Uma Thurman, then a gun/jail house film he did with Laurence Fishburn maybe? then nothing. :shrug:

Well Colin Farell is really a B-Lister but he is a decent actor, it's just dude is a bag of wasted potential. I thought he was pretty dope in Daredevil. He was good in phone booth, he was good in Alexander, and he's good in comedies like In Bruges, so while is not the best, he's not the worst either.
Yea Orlando Bloom is a piece of shyt....i give all the props to the agents of these people. ...
