It is overlooked in the mainstream. As crazy as it sounds, people will credit Wayne for the word "bling", but a lot of those same people probably wouldn't even know it was a B.G. song. That whole era is overlooked including those early Wayne albums.

2 things hurt this album.

1. Having to follow up other classic CMB albums

2. The biggest single Bling Bling, the album version was different than the version that blew up on the radio. The single/radio version was better

I don’t know if it’s possible in this current era, but artists need to go back to having true radio versions of songs compared to what’s on the albums.

No... I can hear the influence of that album in music till this day

I don't agree with this. That late 90s-early 2000s CMR sound and imagery is still relevant to today's generation especially the Detoit wave.
