Yeah I'm not sure why those tweets of pics of prices of groceries in nunavut are supposed to represent the rest of Canada :dead:

Thats like posting pictures of food prices in nome, alaska as representing what they cost in the US.

Only one is in Nanavut. The others are from Toronto, Hamilton, Alberta and the other doesn't specify - just says Canada.

Has life gotten better or worse in Canada over the last year?
Canadian brehs answer this...

I may need to relocate...

I cannot live in the US with Hillary or Trump as the POTUS...
For me personally? It hasn't changed. I have a stable job so I haven't been affected.

The only thing that's annoyed me is the price of games keep going up :dead: $84.99 now for a fukking game. I haven't really noticed prices going up THAT much, its always been expensive here.

I have had a few friends that worked on the rigs in Alberta lose their jobs which sucks. So I have seen what its like for some right now.

I live in Vancouver and I wouldn't live anywhere else though I love my city and my province.

But B.C. stands for bring cash as they say. The middle class has rapidly eroded and most people are either rich or barely making ends meet. I saw a story the other day that Vancouver is the super car capital of North America, 1 out every 142 people own a car like a lambo, aston martin etc

Vancouver is the supercar capital of North America

If you have a trade or a skill you can eat very well here. But if youve got no education the options are dwindling. Places like Target bounced and I see other places closing all the time.

If the dollar keeps falling things could get ugly here but :yeshrug: at the same time a lot of american companies have been eyeing Canada for work BECAUSE of the weak dollar. The company I work just signed a huge contract with an American company and the dollar being weak is why they chose us.

NONE of those are Toronto. Stop it.

People have said you'll be paying a bit more on your grocery bill (Toronto) not 4 times more man...

Although the loonie is getting that work.

The guy with the cauliflower says in his twitter bio he's from Toronto. :manny:

Regardless, the tweets aren't even really the point.

Well, we got rid of our creepy loser prime minister Stephen Harper & replaced him with Justin Trudeau who promises to legalize weed across the country ASAP.

Also this winter was way more mild than last.
