Has life gotten better or worse in Canada over the last year?
Canadian brehs answer this...
I may need to relocate...
I cannot live in the US with Hillary or Trump as the POTUS...
For me personally? It hasn't changed. I have a stable job so I haven't been affected.
The only thing that's annoyed me is the price of games keep going up
$84.99 now for a fukking game. I haven't really noticed prices going up THAT much, its always been expensive here.
I have had a few friends that worked on the rigs in Alberta lose their jobs which sucks. So I have seen what its like for some right now.
I live in Vancouver and I wouldn't live anywhere else though I love my city and my province.
But B.C. stands for bring cash as they say. The middle class has rapidly eroded and most people are either rich or barely making ends meet. I saw a story the other day that Vancouver is the super car capital of North America, 1 out every 142 people own a car like a lambo, aston martin etc

If you have a trade or a skill you can eat very well here. But if youve got no education the options are dwindling. Places like Target bounced and I see other places closing all the time.
If the dollar keeps falling things could get ugly here but
at the same time a lot of american companies have been eyeing Canada for work BECAUSE of the weak dollar. The company I work just signed a huge contract with an American company and the dollar being weak is why they chose us.
