I didn't get bored at all watching other dramas like Sopranos, The Wire, West Wing etc... does this get better?

The first three seasons are . The two wives are incredibly annoying, and its just Jesse and Walt fighting and making up every 3 episodes.

Season 4 is pretty good though, and 5 has been interesting. Worth watching if you are already that deep into it.

I like all the shows you mentioned (never seen West Wing) and I like them all. I'm finding it hard to believe that the first season of the wire wasn't boring to you and the first one of breaking bad is. The Wire is my favorite show ever and I was popping the no doze on the first season breh.

You doing good...when it originally aired I stopped watching midway thru season 1 cuz I thought it was just ridiculous. But after all the hype of season 3 I picked it up again, glad I did

Something people don't really mention. This show wasn't great in the beginning. I may have even skipped some episodes which I would normally never do.

The difference between a "slow" show like The Wire and Breaking Bad is that BB has ZERO likable characters until Saul and Gus start getting major screentime. Jesse is a complete clown early on and Walt and his family are dry, annoying and depressing all at the same time.

Me too i was watching but gave up after season 2. I have no interest in watching it either.

I cant miss walking dead tho

Breaking bad is just too whacky and unbelieveable for me to actually care. I know no matter what the main characters do. They will always get away and never be caught or killed until the very end of the show. Dudes got tons of bodies on them and do all kinds of crazy shyt but they always get away with it.

Its just to fairy tale like for me. I need a show like the wire or walking dead, where main characters get murked and go down just cause thats how it goes.

I be watching breaking bad like "o so he survied when he blew up that drug lords building with that phosphours bomb shyt with no damage at all" " o the assassins were in his room waiting on the bed, but they got called off at the last second" "o they killed like 20 people but cops got no leads at all"

so many more to write down. Show is just too unbelieveable to me. I cant take it serious

thats true the show gets much better in season 4, but seasons 1-3 really arent anything special. i do generally like the show and ill watch it through til the end but i cant imagine ever revisiting it.
