More Clear Resolution & better Sound but I really only bought Action Movies on Blu-Ray. :manny: I'll keep my Comedies & Dramas on DVD because my Blu-Ray Player makes them look Good too.

If you have a TV that copliments blu-rays then yeah you'll notice the sharpness and increased resolution in both picture and sound.

A lot of people will go on about how it's not worth the increase in price though. fukk them, if you're someone who likes to appreciate the final details, go get them Blu-Rays.

you really don't notice a difference depending on the movie and tv connections, the images are somewhat clearer and more detailed, i really wanna say they're overrated, but like i said before it really depends on what movie is being blu rayed.

if you have a HD tv Blu-Ray is the way to go...on a SD tv its not gonna make a difference...

another bid difference is capacity, Blu-Ray holds A LOT more data especially if its dual-layered. So a TV show season of 14 episodes...TRUTHFULLY can prolly fit on 1 or 2 blu-rays. Its why the blu-ray version of movies and shows always have the trillest special features...they can fit everything on there.

i've only just started to go back and start buying my favorites on blu ray over these past few months if i feel they are worth the upgrade and the more recent movies from the past few years that would be would be worth it (Scott Pilgrim for example).

only one thats left me disappointed somewhat is True Romance.
one i'd agree you might not notice that much of a difference.

What size TV do you have? Do you even have an HDTV? This question is irrelevant if you don't have one...
