Why? Are you a joyless black person who can't be excited about a movie that represents what it does for our people, or are you just white?
lmfaooo you almost got me. But in the case of you being serious, it's just a movie. I'm ready for it to come out, not change anything about the lives of black people in this country, and then be forgotten until its Blu-Ray release.

Pro-black but making broad brush stroke generalizations about black men. She'll be getting pissed on by the "respectful guys" sooner or later.

It's funny and maddening at the same time. Imagine Oprah actually doing for the black community. I'm sure most people know about Khan Academy, right? Created by a dude with a networth that's laughable compared to the Queen of daytime TV. How did she not come up with that first, with all that damn money? "Harpo Academia" could've been serving the youth of the black community for decades now, lifting them up where the school system failed them. I know she had the college scholarship thing going, but that's fukking college. If you've made it that far, there's not much stopping you from that point on, honestly. An online education resource for black children would've accomplished so much more, imo.
