I'm probably gone catch a lot of heat for this. But let's be reality here Belly 1 was actually trash. I know it's a hood classic and all but that movie sucked brehs.
It wasn't trash, but it wasn't the great movie many people call it; It was good for the cinematography and the morality play at the center of the story, but other than that, it was meh; the acting alone was borderline laughable...but the visuals and deeper themes really carried this movie for me and made it one of my favorite "Rapper made movies" ever

I just looked at a few clips of that Master P Black Supaman and that's gotta be the lowest production values in any movie ever. Some teens could get high and film a movie making it up on the spot off a cell phone camera and do a better job.
