That’s one school. If that’s your argument then use Howard as your example; don’t use one school as a total representation of all dental schools. You also have to understand (and respect) why Howard (HBCU) qualifications are lower compared to other schools.

Some of the stuff I read on this site, man. . Look up the minimum requirements for medical and dental schools (the vast majority) and you will see that they are usually quite low, look at actual stats and you will see that it is extremely uncommon for applicants to get in with the minimum scores.



For the slow folks. Your ass is almost certainly not getting in to medical/dental school with a schools minimum requirements.There is a surplus of qualified applicants every year and for med school specifically you are a really are a borderline applicant with an MCAT score of 70th percentile, which is about what the average applicant has. Now, many schools have minimums of 40th percentile scores, because they know those people could do the work but usually have averages around the 80% percentile for all test takers.

Coming from a third world country where oral health isn't usually of high Importance nor having the education, I neglected my teeth for a long ass time. I seriously went to the dentist just a year ago and it was shocking at the shyt they cleaned out my gums and teeth. And I had nice looking teeth also given the circumstances. But now I floss every night and it's been wonderful.

It's ok mine is a cna in nursing school for lvn thru tech school just to get it out the way instead of community college
Think she gonna do rn after she gets situated as lvn and knows cuz went thru tech school has to start over unfortunately for classes but will at least me a lvn already getting paid
The other schools field was too long and competitive so did tech route and figured after finishing it makes it easier to get In rn school she has 8 months left I think

FYI, SOME dentists do ceanings. They probably shouldn't because other treatments bring more money.
My current office has 4 hygienists (including myself), and NONE of the dentists do cleanings. But one of the offices I worked at 10 years ago, some of the dentists did cleanings, even though they had a hygienist.

Also, dentists should be making well over $100K. I almost make that amount, and I only have an associates.

You must live in fukk SF or NY or you fukking the dentist to be making almost 6 figures as a hygienist.

All of my wisdom teeth are gone, all at different times. Only had an issue with the first one since it was growing in sideways. Had to cut it in half to get it out.

Nothin wrong with my teeth but I don’t eat bullshyt and maybe the trash you nikkas eat is somehow tied to your dental health

When I was a CNA I got my ass beat regularly just trying to help someone get dressed that didn’t last long. Idk how ppl be CNAs for hella long shyt is hard af and you only make $18.50 an hour smfh

CNAs don’t make that in Louisiana you get 9.00/hr

They are fraudulent in the sense that theyre constantly wanting you to pull out teeth to get implants, or unnecessary root canal or they do a shyt job of filling cavities so they can see more patients and plus they know youll be coming back, a good dentist is like good mechanic. if you find one dont leave
