LA, Atlanta and Houston have to be the worse cities in the country when it comes to traffic.

I have visited both LA and Atlanta multiple times. I almost always have to leave 4 hours in advance just to barely make it to the airports on time.
I lived in Houston for some years. I had a job, that on google maps, was about 12-15 minutes from my apartment. Sometimes I'd leave work at 5pm and would make it home at like 6:45pm.

Atlanta ain’t got nothing on LA. LA has the most soul crushing, brutal traffic I’ve ever experienced.

405 going through West LA into the Valley anytime :wow:

110 going through downtown LA anytime:wow:

14 going up to Palmdale during rush hour:wow:

91 going in and out of the Inland Empire anytime:wow:

75 in Henry County is probably the closet you’ll get to true LA gridlock

Absolutely horrifc. I've been working from home pre-covid but I used to commute from Zone 3 (close to Mechanicsville) to Peachtree Industrial and that shyt was ungodly. At least 2 hours to get home.

Preach

Folks don’t understand. I used to commute from snellville to morrow right at the border of riverdale, shyt took forever felt like you wasted all your time.

Bad traffic from my primary residence in snellville to Murrow turns a 40 minute drive into 1:30 or worse some days.

But I’ve learned the back roads from snellville through stonecrest to cut it down

A lake near Tampa FL
If Target is that close why didn't he just walk
Have you ever tried walking in the south? :heh: The actual downtowns in southern cities might be easy to walk, but outside of that? :francis:

I walk in Florida and its far more annoying than walking the city I came from (NYC). Down here in FL the traffic lights doesn't even automatically change for pedestrians, you gotta tap a sensor on the light pole just to cross the street :francis: I rarely ever seen other ppl walking where I live in FL, maybe 1-2 pedestrians per day :martin:

I assume the part of ATL he's in has a suburban landscape.

Atlanta traffic don't make any sense. I drive from south Atlanta to Alpharetta when I go into the office.

Buy Houston on another level. Took 1hr15min to get to this brunch spot when I was visiting the city.

Another underrated city with traffic is the Hampton Roads area. Lord let it be a car accident on 64 near the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel and you can just forget about your day

SoCal traffic in general. It's going to be hell during the Olympics.
