Breh, Kevin Smith was telling a story of how expensive it was to rent videos back in the day and the guy on his show was co-signing because he used to work at a video store as a college kid in the 80s and not only were the prices to rent out of this world but the late fees were astronomical.

it was only like 5 bucks a video.

These young kids just don't know how bad it was back in the days. Movies use to take like 8 to 10 months before it on home video.

Word. Basically, back then, you had to wait another calender year for release. "The Matrix" changed the game and making DVDs being released 3.5-6 months after release now. Guess that is the catch 22 we got to deal with.
