Yeah, I would get it in your pops name. My brother just bought a 2007 Chevy Impala SS. It had right at 52k miles when he got it. His note is $320 a month, he ended up putting our father on his insurance and it went from $200 a month to $80 a month. I think he got State Farm but I'm going to ask him tomorrow. But they told him that after 6 months he can take our father off of the policy and his rate will stay at $80 a month.

Oh shyt, I just texted my brother and he said that he got his insurance thru Allstate.

I think they forgot to add the deductible. If I total my shyt, I pay a fee or some shyt.

So it should drop down to about 100-120.

Well see tomorrow.

Breh if you don't get a good deal put your pops as a co owner. When I did that I got full coverage on a 2000 Buick for 80 bucks. This was about 5 years ago I'm on my own now:sadbron: I have all state insurance btw.

trick is if you're not the the titled owner get the quotes under your parents name and then list yourself as a driver. it would be a lot cheaper.

try to consolidate insurance...

so if you have home/apartment insurance you can add car insurance also...

so that there is multi part discount...

also need to have both car on same company for multi discount

also calling and speaking to an agent can reduce the cost further...

and if it comes down to budget, you can play with the coverage...only as a last resort

Yeah, All-State be on that bullshyt! I was getting hit with $160 a month for a car that I rarely drive. They tried to bolster me into staying with the whole "you will get 5% back at the end of the 6-month term AND we will lower you deductible $100 for every year you are not in an accident."

My financial mind began to churn and realized that for every percent given to me and deductible reduction, profits must be made up elsewhere hence the higher charge.

Suffice to say, I moved my ass onto Progressive, signed up for that Snapshot program and now rocking about $79 a month. 50% decrease!!:youngsabo:
