Reminds me of middleschool dialogue.
Ruthless Aggression is the greatest waste of talent in the history of wrestling.
You had a lot of the biggest stars in the history of wrestling, incredible workers and future stars all under the same roof and they totally wasted it with horrible booking and a total lack of direction.
Ruthless Aggression planted a lot of the seeds that gave us the product of today. Vince never recovered creatively from putting WCW out of business. You can damn near set your watch to the decline beginning after Mania 17. It only got worse year by year.

From what I see from NXT it looks like a horny CW show or an adult Saved by the Bell
Somehow though it seems the work rate quality is getting back to what it was but they're also giving super green workers TV time.AEW give their talent more freedom so some things are hit and miss but Punk/MJF and this current Bryan/Moxley stuff is as good as anything I'd expect out of a wrestling show.
nikkas have shyt on ruthless aggression for years, now all of a sudden it's a goat era.

as a quality tv show.
from the beginning is rohtv on directv.
From the beginning of rohtv on directc airing.
to when dragon was raided.
Tna cut the legs out from under every great angle it had.
Or stsrted suck'n an wwe past drawing talents dikk. Over the homegrown grassroots tna staples.
Or the jnvading indy heroes who saved wrasslin to complete misuse.
As no tna storyline ever has a truly great ending.
Leading to reboots that go sulking back to the tna grassroots built originals. Then undermine'n those tna originals. In favor a past wwe draw. That makes no sense to do.
when wwe would not hesitate.
to bury any tna original.
or indy hero who was built via tna.
At least in aew.
The right guy goes over.
in a consistent high quality work with sound psychology as a standard.
Or if a wwe hopeful goes over.
It is damn near a definitive domestic match Type.
of a fmw classic to retread but higher quality working version of a past wwe work.
Example: if moxley goes over. At least moxley goes over in a higher quality upgraded work of a past austin style finish. Or outdoes a past fmw work.
Mox maybe what if scsa was in a workrate extensive fed. Yet it always features an upgrade in psychology to spot calling. That revisits an austin classic. Yet tries to do it better in a current climate.
Example : stadium stampede to war games revisit
Any wwe shield work. Is surpassed by ico. In a what if any high point of the shield's stable match best. Is countered by an even bigger spectacle match and finish.
Tag matches :
Tna has arguably the best tag match that ever aired on ppv and free tv. Yet for as many elix skipper cage match moments. To the hof arguable best finish on freetv in santana and ortiz versus decay. Where crazy steve's eye is put in tacks. Aew finds a way to equal those finishes. With a more subdued finish. That includes hardcore pop worthy props.
Ala the fragment one's tack shoe spot in a cage. To any crazy finish that aew has in tags.
In timeline aew is way better than both.
As aew has not made the wrong guy champion and had to walk it back.
Similar to ey leading to lashley and nikkalution saving the day in the best swerve off the decade. Nor has aew been a prisoner to the clique. Where we need a let dat bytch cry moment.
to finally save wrasslin from the goblin.
Nor has khan booked the wrong guy as champion ala wwe and tna. where as wwe always book the wrong person with the title ala cripple's win to destroy the boom at mania.
to make it so there is a period erroneously titled the ruthless aggression era.
to the cipple ache reign of trash bag water juice terror. To jarrett making and standing in the way of aj styles from being the main draw.
Nor has the clique undermined black workers like black machismo. Nor has aew allowed the elite to undermine workers trolling the clique gimmick.
Aew from timeline is rhe only promotion.
to make exaxt sense from its beginning.
while only having one sore spot.
being cody oversaturating the winner's circle having a fake draw.
Even in that cody self regulated himself. To the point he is no longer allegedly with aew..
Every indy hero who saved wraaslin aew signee has been used according to their draw effectively. Except brian cage, off the top of my head.
Daniels was injured originally when aew debuted. Plus later damaged his eye.
So that is the only indy hero because of semantics out if dabiles control. Off the top i can think of. who was not rewarded as an indy hero who saved Wrasslin.

Aew is cool for a few monkey spots, debut/nostalgia pop, & a overall nice crowd atmosphere.
The storylines either suck or non existent for the most part.
Most of the stables make no sense. Too many wrestlers disappear to really follow what's going on.
Too many little boy jabronis & not enough men really brawling.
Too much hipster/nerd vibes.

But someone please explain to me how would it make more booking sense in a company that established they have a ranking system for contenders to get title shots (and typically for 3 years if the challenger loses he goes down in rankings and another rises up).
But all of a sudden they abolish that by having a guy “ask for a title shot” and they skip the rankings and get another championship match?

Maybe some of y’all who hate for no reason or the silliest reasons just to hate forget that TNA at one point did a ranking system too (cuz AEW didn’t just start this or they weren’t the first) and they did do the ranking thing but occasionally when a loser called his loss a fluke and would ask for another match…..
… when they did get it, people back then said THAT was bad booking and began to question what is the point of a ranking system when you can just lose the match and demand a rematch?
