fukk this thread though.

This dude says, "he just tore his knee up like plenty of other athletes" like it's just common for a player that's the reigning MVP and clearly on his way to his prime to go down like that.

Plus the dude is practically the Bulls, and generally like everywhere, not just Chicago. When Rose went down like that it was some depressing shyt out. nikkas didn't even feel right for the rest of the playoffs. I know I didn't even care anymore.

adidas Basketball: The Return of D Rose TV Commercial -- Wake Up - YouTube

These dramatic commercials, the webisodes, the hashtags, etc.

I mean, the dude tore his knee up just like hundreds of other athletes have in the past. Some come back ok, some tear the shyt right up again, some are never the same again.

What if the poor guy gets hurt again? Are they gonna have a campaign for every injury he gets? :heh:

Wasn't the word that he possibly wasn't gonna play the entire year anyway?

Adidas is milking this investment. Hope it works out.

Acting like this is some incredible story....dudes got 100 million dollars, gets the best treatment and trainers, around the clock. I mean...i hope hes alright, but spare me the music and shyt trying to make me feel sorry for this guy

For his sake, I hope he doesnt come back, take his first hop step in the lane and :deadrose:

No doubt about it.

I just think this campaign is wild. Is it innovative because there's no other way to market him & his new shoe right now? Ehh...sure.

I'm just reacting because it's something I don't think has ever been done before...and it's just a lil' strange to me.

I guess it's because of how it happened, who it happened to, how it crushed the city (hence the commercial), etc.
