I wear mine to the gym all the time, I don't care what these ninjas say...it keeps sweat out my eyes when I'm hooping.

I never had waves, I had curly hair and was always trying to grown my hair out so I never had a du-rag or wave cap. I never thought about it like that because brehs been wearing them out in public since I was a kid whereas bonnets in public seem newer and then became a faux social statement. Being fair they should be viewed the same.

but for some I cant bring myself to do it.

I think they look pretty good in general and whenever I see someone wearing one I never see anything wrong.
