Still went up against the feds when most nikkas would've folded.

Nas made a business decision...

He looked at the murder Inc roster and seen G-Unit marching up the hill...

nikka said fukk yall and bounced:francis:

Nas would have taken G-Unit for dolo like he did Roc-a-Fella and left unharmed. But yeah, he knew that Irv wasn't a good match for him after all.

I honestly don’t even get which part made nas think he was doing a smart move to begin with. I would love to know that.. a blind man could see Irv was way too ego driven…

Nas was on the radio saying how he was battling nikkas for dolo. Irv approached him and said he would hold him down. I don't think Nas was asking for help. He was just talking his shyt. Irv probably caught him off guard. And I think a combination of adrenaline, appreciation, and intrigue clouded his better judgement.

Y’all act like the Feds were after Irv. They were just trying to make sure his money was tied up so he could not finance Preme.
Irv coulda easily settled and gave da feds something on Preme.
Say what you want, but him taking it trial when da feds got a 95 percent conviction rate was hella risky. He coulda got serious time

Lol, reread what you just said bro.

Give the Feds something on Supreme? So become rats? That’s the way to easily settle it? Lol, life ruined…career ruined…relationships ruined, etc…

Even if he didn’t rat and just decided to admit guilt and take the 11 months or however much they got offered, that still would have, for all intents and purposes, destroyed Supreme and been admitting that he was bringing in illegal proceeds that they cleaned for him.

No, he took it to trial because, for one, they weren’t laundering dirty money…they didn’t do anything wrong. For two, if they didn’t and just took the deal they would have been giving up Supreme. And for three, I’m sure their lawyers advised them to not take the deal because the prosecutors didn’t have anything. Again, they didn’t do anything they were being accused of.

Like 50 and others said, the government wanted Supreme real bad…wiping out Irv Gotti’s money cleared the path to get Supreme

Plenty of people go to jail for shyt they didn't do lol
i think you are missing that point.
Feds don't even try a case unless they think they can win. They were obviously getting some type of info that led them to believe they could convict them..

Didn't help that 50 was running around telling everyone that Preme waa extorting murder inc and protecting them for financial gain.
