Yeah idk about all that. They pushed stuff back that was filmed in 2019 for 2020 releases, and were in the middle of filming a bunch of projects in 2020 when they had to pause due to covid.

The new Hawkeye is a girl so yeah they would do it.

The old Hawkeye is still alive and was in the series she is in. It is clear she evolves into his protege in the series nothing like what happened to Black Panther. Also, we aren’t even sure if they make another Hawkeye series.

Superheroes are interchangeable. There’s another Black Widow, Captain America, Hawkeye, possibly Ironman if this comes out. In the comics it’s even more frequent.

No they are not, every time they do it they go right back to the old ones because it fails. How many major comic runs has Sam Wilson had as captain America that sold well? Is the next Cap movie even a movie or going to be on Disney plus? That mantle bs doesn’t work in marvel and it barley works in DC and that is mostly with characters with a history of passing on their mantles like the flash.

That's ehat the creative involved not some exec wanted. If the director/other actors are not down for a recast you got to move forward without a recast.

It doesn’t matter what they want if you are funding the movie. Disney lost billions on the lack of merchandise sells. Merchandise always does way higher numbers than ticket sells. It is how Disney finessed Sony out of Spider-Man merchandising share by giving them their movie share.

I mean Spider-Man only became Spidey because he got put out in front of people constantly. And not in good stuff either.
