Its pretty funny that the picture in the original post doesn't mention that Iran has been fighting a proxy war against US forces in Iraq, and Israelis worldwide. For some reason, according to the logic of whoever made that picture, none of that should count because Iran hides behinds proxies.

Not too long ago the US helped Iraq kill scores of Iranians and overthrew their democratically elected government in favor of a brutal dictator, it makes sense for them to protect themselves from US "national interests," especially since they just saw what happened to their neighbor. Whoever said Iran has invaded countries is flat out wrong. So far (like, hundreds of years) the only thing they've done is defend their border and such. They hold about 35% of the world's natural gas supply ... good enough reason for people to be all on their shyt I suppose.

I think they did hold hostages at a U.S. embassy though, not 100% sure and don't feel like googling. I'm sure someone will tell me if I'm wrong.
