IPad Pro 12.9-inch owners... was it worth the price?

i have the OG iPad from like 2011…it still works pretty good. I love it, but for that price I'd rather have a Mac Air

Why not just get a surface pro and save $600.

Get an amazon fire tablet and save yourself 1k.

If you actually do work you will spend more on a capable surface pro. I got the 16gn ram i7 joint because I actually needed to code on it. If all you do is check the coli and email then cop a fire hd 10 for 100 bucks put the google play store on it and call it a day.

I didn't know the Fire HD 10 was only 100 bucks. What's the quality of those fire tablets?

Youtube some fire hd 10 reviews. Right now amazon got it for 99, and 69 if you use an amex card plus points (minimum one point) look up slick deals for the deal.

And surface pro is better if yoy need an actual PC. If you just web browse the just save bread and get a fire hd

its better than i thought it would be, very responsive ...... only thing is when i use a keyboard im so used to using a touchpad that i keep on forgetting to touch the screen instead

iOS is still too limited for my taste to rely on as a primary computer, but iPads are nice as long as you are ok with those limitations.

Get a MacBook or a nice PC laptop. Much more useful

I use it for art and it's been better than any Wacom product I've used before.

The only regret I have is that I bought the old gen version off eBay so the screen isn't as responsive as it should be.

Definitely planning on buying a new model.

I couldnt justify the upgrade from my air 2.

If you dont have an ipad it is worth it, but if you’re usuing a previous iteration its not all that better.

My wife has the 10.5 and it's straight although I didn't notice that big of an upgrade from the Air 2 though....

I'd rather just use my laptop honestly....

who would be the target for something like this? Obviously people who make music or Dj's. College students taking notes in class? For business owners when clients input information?

I doubt you can start working with excel spreadsheets or doing work work on it but i'm sure it has it's place

It's not worth $1200 unless there is a specific app or purpose you have in mind for it

I have the 9.6 inch I think. I bought it in 2016. It's been pretty much a redundant product for me since I also own an iPhone X (and an iPhone 6S before this). But I just purchased a refurbished Apple Pencil, and I'm hoping to use the iPad Pro w/ Pencil mostly in class to bridge me over to the newer Macbook Pro models in June. So right now, my set up is iPad Pro w/ Pencil and a 2010 15" MBP.
