Many influencers have been exposed for lying about "Partner Brand Deals". You can usually tell if they are nowhere featured or posted on the brand's actual social media. You can easily put #Ad and #Partner on your post and nobody will know. The brand doesn't care because it's free promo.
It's a weird business.
Similarly I used to take photos of a lot of local models. Sometimes I would go on their IG and Facebook and see them saying my photo was a brand deal
