I would be willing to look past any flaws in the film, whether it be acting or storyline, as long as the fight choreography is on point.
There ain't been that many "martial arts" style tv shows like this, and most of em turn out kinda campy. Shyt off the top, I can't even remember that many. Martial Law with Sammo, Vanishing Son from back in the 90s......uh..., Walker Texas Ranger, da hell, lol. What else?!
Kung Fu: The Legend Continues.
Anyway, yeah this was pretty cool. Hit all the right marks.
Sunny looks like an asian Dante from old school Devil May Cry..... with no guns. Still cool.
Setting is unique. Like they took a bunch of eras and smooshed them together.... but none of them modern. Unless the place on the medallion is a sprawling Emerald City.
Fight scenes is BRUTAL. They not pulling no punches right there.
Sunny's girl Vell is
Slavery and Political Intrigue.
Skank Hoes in fancy dresses.
what's not to like?
edit: @ThaGlow I forgot all about Vanishing Son, so this +reps for you.
