I like it it so far I give the episode an 8/10.
Hopefully it keeps up the piff and Last Rites isn't trash because AMC about to be bushes status if those go to shyt.
This s h i t is lit! There is a lot to like about this show since it seems like it could be a miniature kung-fu flick every week. The have some interesting characters and some fine females. My only issue is the glaring plantation scenery. I hope that this show goes a few seasons at the minimum. I wonder if the compass points to Azra and is not just a regular one.

The action was really dope in this, surprising in fact. The story though? I dunno. I don't like the supernatural aspect of it, maybe it needs more time.
Still the lead is charismatic and kicks major ass so I think I will stick with it.

I would be willing to look past any flaws in the film, whether it be acting or storyline, as long as the fight choreography is on point.
There ain't been that many "martial arts" style tv shows like this, and most of em turn out kinda campy. Shyt off the top, I can't even remember that many. Martial Law with Sammo, Vanishing Son from back in the 90s......uh..., Walker Texas Ranger, da hell, lol. What else?!

Baron's fort looks like a plantation house. I like the fight scenes and Sunny's love interest.

The fight choreography for this show is amazing. Lots of "Wire-Fu" which I love and then they threw in some supernatural shenanigans just to make sure I would be hooked.
I thought the first ep was great.
