That dude is going to be taken care of for life in Atlanta. He knows this. He'll get the right people on his team and they'll make sure he invests his money in the right places to make him a lot more money.
If you want to win in pro sports, you have to be a team player. To get talent around you you have to give up something in the short term.
That's why you see teams that break the bank for quarterbacks have a hard time winning Super Bowls after the fact. They can't get enough talent around him.
