Scans of Goku's Mother 'Gine' Revealed - Dragon Ball Insider

Scans of Goku’s mother Gine have surfaced from the bonus chapter of Jaco the Galactic Patolman called Dragon Ball Minus. Dragon Ball Minus will be covering Goku’s life before heading to earth, along with the introduction of his aforementioned mother, ‘Gine’. Gine, (pronounced “ghi-neh”) is a name pun on the word “Negi”, which in Japanese means scallion or spring onion. Yet, another vegetable! Check out the images below.





Viz Media will be releasing this chapter three days after the Japanese release of Jaco the Galactic Patrolman hits shelves on April 4, 2014, and will also release their English edition of the series, both digitally and in print in January 2015.

I remember wondering about that shyt when looking at the series like.. where the saiyan women at? , All I see is a bunch of nikkas dressed up in Freeza's uniforms acting like bad guys from that movie Road Warrior being a$$holes while Bardock is tries to warn them about that super L freeza about to give em. Not just that though.. like you mean to tell me, the entire planet was full of no thinking types? Just warriors.. for real? Like just Bardock knew what was gonna happen? What I'm saying is



Its been said already in the thread but honestly... I rather they reboot the series and stay somewhat close to the core template. The storyline needs to have its plot holes filled and what not and it wouldn't hurt to give the other characters some shine for fukks sake.
No reason Piccolo the gawd should have been thrown to the bushes like that , or the humans for that matter.



Saiyans are cool and all but man its like they're too strong. You get stronger from getting beat to near death, but don't worry your a saiyan so you got wolverine regeneration so you won't really die, what kind of shyt is that.

I hate dbz movies all of them straight trash. He should just make a two part series. A prequel before db story line and a different universe storylines or backdrop. Bring back pikkon

Some are saying "Dragon Ball: Minus" contradicts "The Bardock Story" but it doesn't. There was that period before Bardock and Gine sent Goku to be sent to Earth. That's what I love about the story. It actually expands on "The Bardock Story" if you think about it.

Old Gohan raised goku from an infant until he was like 9 years old. Gohan raised him well enough to inspire Goku to save the world multiple times.

Meanwhile Vegeta was a child soldier . While Goku was celebrating birthdays, Vegeta was a celebrating his recent genocide under the man who murdered his people and father. Goku has no excuse

They do look alike...it is really uncanny how the two of them could look alike, but not be related to each other. Turles looks like an Evil Goku. Maybe Bardock had a one night stand with another female Saiyan, and nobody knew about it

The story went that over 1000 years ago a saiyan warrior went super saiyan.
In the latest movie about Bardock he doesn't die after Frieza's attack.
He travels back in time and fights one of Frieza's ancestors and goes Super Saiyan.
Before Frieza's ancestor dies he tells his workers to warn his family about the Saiyans which is why Frieza has it out for them so much.

Because going Super Saiyan occurs ever 1000 years, Broly was believed to be the latest reincarnation. Which would make Bardock the original.


God I'm just realizing liking DBZ is the nerdiest thing about me.
