Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Are you sure about that, because i could ruin this film for you if you really wanna know. I read the movie already.
Can you break it down for me. Even in a pm

This trailer looks weak. It sounds like a million other movies

I don't want to know how it ends. But are we gonna get into some time travel, aliens, alternate worlds, or some shyt

Cause if this is straight up, let's travel to this other planet and admire the great visuals and character dialogue then :camby:

2001 A Space Odyssey is one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. I never got the Kubrick hype :manny:
Yes!!! I was on a "classic" kick. For months all I would do is watch every old classic that I never saw. From today back to the 30s.

So many were so trash/boring that it was incredible people still stanned that shyt.

Now I understand if you were alive then. A lot of tech was new and amazing. But ain't no way in hell you were born in the 80s or later, talking bout how 2001 was a masterpiece. shyt critics and movie goers shyt on it when it came out. It really became a cult classic years later

2001 damn near birthed every sci-fi film after it including this one. I didn't find it boring at all. The movie had a lot of deep theme's about technology and the human spirit. Matter of fact it seems Nolan definitley was biting from 2001 in this trailer. I'm sure they will go through the worm hole and go to another dimension ala the last scene of 2001.

I thought Inception was boring (decent, but boring) and TDKR was massively disappointing, but putting that aside, I hate it when people compare directors Kubrick. He's not even one of my favorite directors but that man was a innovator pur sang who literally changed the game on how films are made. As far as I consider it there are maybe five directors in the history of film that deserve to be given that same kind of status, and being a great director with a strong filmography isn't nearly enough to be up there. See also: when M. Night Shyamalan was being compared to Hitchcock. Extreme example, but some legacies shouldn't be up for comparison until long after we have all the facts.
i get what you're saying breh but you're only mentioning RECENT more mainstream nolan. i've been a fan since memento, insomnia, the prestige etc. (movies i saw in theatres ) he's proven himself more than that

and to me M nights first 3 movies are undeniable ( 6th sense, unbreakable, signs)..i just don't know wtf happened after that. he's like the Lupe fiasco of directing.

Nolan showed up to Comic-Con for the first time ever (I think...) and blew everyone away with a surprise showing of a new trailer....

I don't know if I actually want to see another trailer, but I don't know if I can resist, either....:lupe:
