Smh so Did Nolan scrap that because he wanted it to be more realistic :stopitslime: since when did they say it was ok to make space movies without aliens

He scrapped it because he wanted the movie to be more "emotional"....

This movie could have been classic...it could have been the movie that "Contact" was supposed to be

I'm GLAD they didn't go this convoluted route. Too many tired cliches like aliens, evil humanoid robots, forced love romance. It seems like if you out all that on film, it'll be a Jupiter Ascending kind of mess. Just all over the place.

I'm cool with Nolan zoning it in to just his relationship with his daughter and how to two even from light years apart need each other to save mankind.

Jupiter Ascending was all over the place because the damn story was all over the place...."Intestellar" was written around an established astronomer's theories, so it was already based in realism....Coop translating complex gravitational equations through an analog watch was Nolan throwing a pie in the audience face....and you smiled the whole time he did it....:scust:

The OG script was still all over the place. Too much thrown without any clear direction.

this is what divides my opinion on this movie. its put together so well then the last half hour gets all M. Night Shamylan and switches up to some spaceghost 5th dimension bookshelf bullshyt....he shoulda fell in the black hole and saw his fam like Mann said and died while Hathaway was alone on the new world.
