4get that......That Matt Damon heel turn was stuff of legend though. Never saw it coming. Matt is such a G man.
This dude was narrating homies death while killing him like ....They say your loved ones are there to greet you when you die....do you see it? Do you see them? No? :russ:

:banderas: Bruh....
And Hans Zimmerman had the best music on the soundtrack layering that scene.

The curious case of Benjamin button i remeber hit me like a ton of bricks tho.

Yeah....that was one of those movies that have you thinking like, damn, when it’s all said and done, that’s the type of life I would have wanted to live. I thought there were a lot of similarities to Forest Gump. Make you want to go out and just have all different types of life experiences.

What’s this INTJ personality thing ? I Loved interstellar and inception. Dark knight not so much.

Myers-Briggs is a more accurate description of human personalities than let’s say astrology. There is some scientific and data analytical stuff to back it up. Apparently, there are 16 personalities. You can take a test that will put you in the realm of your personality type.

My personality type, INTJ, is that of a strategist. So I’m typically drawn to more thinking movies or characters. For instance, if you watch Game of Thrones, my favorite characters were Tywin Lannister, Olenna Tyrell, Varys, Littlefinger, and to a lesser extent, Tyrian. They were the strategist, the most cunning, the power behind the throne, if you will. When they warred, they warred at at higher level than everyone else. This is kind of the personality types for INTJ or other NT personality types (I think it’s like 4). Apparently Christopher Nolan is an INTJ so most of his movies tend to appeal,at a deeper level, to that personality type.

You can find out yours here (there’s is a test at the end of the page): Personality Types | 16Personalities

Interstellar > Arrival but the concept of Arrival kinda fukked me up.

Language shapes the way we think, act, and feel. English, by linguistic standards, is a crazy, fukked up language. The world is controlled by English-speaking/thinking(if not first then at least second language) people, which is why it's so crazy and fukked up now :dwillhuh:

Arrival wasn’t the greatest movie but I did enjoy the concepts on language and time. What kind of blew me was when the main character started talking about how the Aboriginals viewed time, as if it was this continuum in that our ancestors, ourselves, and our descendants, are all really the same person living in the past, present, and future, or some shyt like that. Thought it was a cool concept.

Aliens didn't construct it. Humans from the future did.

Black holes aren't wormholes.

Could black holes be portals to other universes?

:stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime::stopitslime:

The objects scientists think are black holes could instead be wormholes leading to other universes, a new study says. If so, it would help resolve a quantum conundrum known as the black hole information paradox, but critics say it would also raise new problems, such as how the wormholes would form in the first place.

A black hole is an object with such a powerful gravitational field that nothing, not even light, can escape it if it strays within a boundary known as the event horizon. Einstein’s theory of general relativity says black holes should form whenever matter is squeezed into a small enough space.

Though black holes are not seen directly, astronomers have identified many objects that appear to be black holes based on observations of how matter swirls around them.

But physicists Thibault Damour of the Institut des Hautes Etudes Scientifiques in Bures-sur-Yvette, France, and Sergey Solodukhin of International University Bremen in Germany now say that these objects could be structures called wormholes instead.

Wormholes are warps in the fabric of space-time that connect one place to another. If you imagine the universe as a two-dimensional sheet, you can picture a wormhole as a “throat” connecting our sheet to another one. In this scenario, the other sheet could be a universe of its own, with its own stars, galaxies and planets.

Damour and Solodukhin studied what such a wormhole might look like, and were surprised to discover that it would mimic a black hole so well that it would be virtually impossible to tell the difference.

As an aside, my Meyers Brigg personality type is INTJ. Apparently, Christopher Nolan films are geared toward INTJ personality types which is why I think it resonated with me much. Interstellar is ranked as being one of the most INTJ movies along side inception and I think Dark Night.

How is Inception not an INTP film?
Inception and The Matrix are definitely INTP movies

I just won a bet with a friend that you were going to post this very exact NewScience article. Thanks for the $10 homey!

I put that "exact search term" in my post for a reason.

The "hole" in both words throws most people off and bad science in movies make most people think they are the same or related. I haven't even touched on the relativistic effects.

What’s the original ending?

.

See above.
Wormhole collapses as he attempts to send the information to Murph.
Likely that the info would have gotten through, setting all the other events into motion, but he would have died in the process, never having seen the future.

Could be. I know there is a lot of similarities between INTJ and INTP. Most list that I’ve seen however ranks it as INTJ. The film could very well have characteristics of both. Not sure about the Matrix because I haven’t seen it. Or at least I tried and stopped watching the first 30 minutes. It always seems like a chore to watch.
