In Florida at least the guy with the gun could’ve possibly been charged with brandishing if he didn’t shoot. You only pull out a weapon when you’re going to use it.

That is not how the law works. If you try to fight someone and they pull out they heat, they are going to have a self-defense claim.
You need to back off at that point or end up like the guy in the video.
The other party is not obligated to give you a fist fight.
You misread what I wrote..I agreed..but was also saying if you pull a gun out with someone trying to fist fight you then you better use it..some people will back away at that moment and have a serious vendetta against you and might even kill you since “you tried to kill them” plenty of people have been shot for pulling out and not using this is common knowledge
