Past SBs in New Orleans have featured tributes to Mardi Gras, tributes to Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, performances by Ella Fitzgerald, Lionel Hampton, Pete Fountain.

Of course they deserve flowers, they are true perseveres of our unique American culture, but the complexity of jazz is best appreciated with enough time and a like-minded environment to savor the nuisance. Like a great meal or lazy afternoon at the park with a Mosley novel.
The SB crowd wants simple entertainment with the possibility of drama - just like in the game. Although many may enjoy 'Take the A Train', especially if they never heard it, the halftime show is more suited for catchy jingles, ' They Not Like Us' fits the bill. Like an In-N-Out double-double, quick, no-nonsense, delicious and digestable before kickoff.
