Obama just did the same system of deportation that he inherited from bush the second who inherited from Clinton who then inherited from Bush the first.

Catch and release. Focus heavily on keeping people from getting here to begin with. What he then added was an emphasis on deporting anyone who was accused of even a small crime and he hit record numbers.

Trump dismantled that system to try to justify building a wall and putting people in private owned prisons to make money, but while that was happening people were getting here in droves and then claiming amnesty. When the goal was don’t let them come here to begin with.

That would require paying for Mexican and all the other Border Police to do their jobs.

That would work better it’s been effective in Africa which is why you see arabs in Libya enslaving Black people but america doesn’t want todo what’ most effective.

I don’t see how even the Project 2025 guys thought that this will work.

It’s in that plan though, so I have no idea what they were thinking.. Remember, only one phase was published online though.

But you would think there was a backup plan in place if it didn’t go the way they anticipated.. a contingency. They said that it would be easy by offering “buyouts” and diminishing the federal workforce but that doesn’t seem to be going as they arrogantly thought it would either.

So far they have some wins but there is pushback towards this. Trumps numbers have dropped significantly across the board, a lot of “undecideds” have now realized this dude isn’t all there and a lot of conservatives have realized they fukked up. Blindly aligning himself with Musk isn’t doing him any publicity favors either… people genuinely hate that dude all over the world now.
